TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY ONE
RULES TO LIVE BY
I. Description of activity (part one)
The first part of the activity asks students to work together as a team to determine the types of careers whose workers work together as a team and those careers whose workers work alone. The object of this activity is to get the students to realize that there are very few careers whose workers works entirely on their own. To do this the class is divided into groups and instructed to list careers where the workers work as a team and those that don’t. This is followed by a class discussion to evaluate the list for accuracy.
II. Description of activity (part two)
The second part of the activity asks students to work together as a group to determine the rules that members of a team must follow in order for the team to be successful. This list is discussed in class and a common list is developed

I. Description of activity (part one)
This activity asks students to work together as teams to first arrange the members of their groups alphabetically then by height and next by age and finally by the number of letters in their name.

TEXAS BIG FOOT
I. Description of activity
The entire group is asked to work together to line themselves up in a row on a start line with the sides of their feet touching. They will them be asked to move together past a marked distances without any of their feet separating.
