Low tech steps for making a small 6 inch high geodome paper model

I Make 8 paper hexagon panels

1.) Use a compass to make a six inch diameter circle on

a 8.5 X 11 inch piece of computer paper.

2.)Use a protractor to divide the circle into six 60

degree segments.

3.)Make fold lines by connecting the points where the

protractor lines touch the edge of the circle.

4.)Cut out the circles and fold back the fold lines to

make flaps. (See diagram below)

II Make 6 paper square panels

1.) Use a compass to make a 3.5 inch diameter circle on

a 8.5 X 11 inch piece of computer paper.

2.)Use a protractor to divide the circle into four 90

degree segments.

3.)Make fold lines by connecting the points where the

protractor lines touch the edge of the circle.

4.)Cut out the circles and fold back the fold lines to

make flaps. (See diagram below)

III Staple the flaps together. (Click geodome to see how
