This unit will help you to

find out more about the historical roots of The Blues
identify a piece of 12-bar Blues both harmonically and lyrically
understand and analyse the general characteristics of the Blues
produce your own Blues arrangement
develop your key skills

Tasks

There are several tasks for you to complete which will help you meet the requirements of the Edexcel syllabus and also develop your key skills. These include:

ICT skills - for example using the Internet to research a topic
communication skills - for example presenting information to a group
working with others -for example working in a group to prepare a presentation or develop a musical composition.

All the activities are indicated by the word TASK
