Overview:

During this unit of study, students will become aware of the many different media available (literary books, encyclopedias, reference books, computer software, the Internet, etc.), and research resource sites (class library, school library, public library, Internet Websites, aquarium sites, etc.), and learn to utilize these media and resources to facilitate their study.  They will start to use the computer and other technology tools to assist and enhance their study.  They will be given hands-on opportunities to obtain basic knowledge and learn basic skills to use some of these tools.
