My name is Marion Peluso. I am a third grade teacher in Brooklyn, New
York. I started this website to provide a safe, educational, and fun
place for my students to use. There are many great websites created
for for teachers, but very few are geared towards the children.
Although
teaching is a second career for me, I worked hard and within two
years, I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. For the past
two years I have been part of the
Teachers Network, creating online units- Journey to Outer Space, and
Touring The World With Tomie
dePaola. Through the Teachers
Network, I have also received an Impact II grant for a unit called An
Exploration of Africa.
When I am not teaching, searching the internet, or creating webpages,
my favorite things to do are to spend time with my husband Matt, read, and
play with my four year old Tigger the Terrible! (Yes, he is a cat to most
humans!) While I am an animal lover in general, I am crazy about
giraffes, as you can see.
